For the Weather

Bangkok has a tropical climate with three main seasons:

Cool Season (November to February)
The best time to visit, with pleasant temperatures averaging around 22–26°C in the evenings and little rain. Pack lightweight clothes but also a light sweater or jacket for cooler nights and air-conditioned places.
Hot Season (March to June)
Temperatures soar into the mid-30s °C, especially in April, the hottest month. Lightweight, loose clothing, sun protection, and staying hydrated are essential. Rainfall is low early in this season but increases by May.
Monsoon Season (July to October)
Characterised by heavy rainfall and high humidity. Pack a raincoat or umbrella and quick-drying clothes. Temperatures remain high, around 30–33°C.

For Activities

For the Grand Palace and major royal temple
The dress code is strict: long trousers and shirts with sleeves are mandatory. Sleeveless tops, short skirts, shorts, and tight-fitting pants like leggings are not permitted.
